Break Time at the Theme Parks!

globalwishestravel

Let's face it - spending hours at the four theme parks at Walt Disney World can be daunting, not to mention exhausting. No matter how young or how young-at-heart you are, all of the walking around on unforgiving surfaces makes for some sore legs. We all know that when family members get tired they can also get a wee bit cranky. Fear not! There are many outside spots throughout the theme parks at Walt Disney World that are wonderful for taking it down a notch.

ANIMAL KINGDOM:

  • Africa: Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail.

  • Asia: Maharajah Jungle Trek and also the pathway next to Caravan Road toward Africa.

  • Discovery Island: all sorts of great little spots around.

  • DinoLand U.S.A.: around the Beyond! theater and also around Finding Nemo The Big Blue.

  • Rafiki's Planet Watch: so many locations throughout.

EPCOT:

  • World Celebration: a plethora of locations are great to catch your breath.

  • World Discovery: the area near Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

  • World Nature: the area between the Coral Reef restaurant and the Seas with Nemo and Friends.

  • World Showcase: Canada: the garden walkway towards Le Cellier; China: the area next to the Temple of Heaven; France: the area between France and the United Kingdom pavilions near the water; Italy: the area next to the Pizza Al Taglio; Japan: the area around the gardens; Mexico: the area next to the pavilion; Morocco: the area near Restaurant Marraakesh and the Lamps of Wonder; Norway: the corridor between Norway and the China pavilions; United Kingdom: the garden areas are lovely; U.S.A.: the American Adventure area between the Regal Eagle Smokehouse and Joffrey's Coffee.

HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS:

  • Animation Courtyard: the area near the restrooms.

  • Echo Lake: the area to the right of 50s Prime Time Cafe by Adventure Outpost

  • Grand Avenue: the area along the pathway between Mama Melrose's Ristorate Italiano and Muppet Vision 3D.

  • Pixar Place: area near the archway.

  • Star Wars Galaxy's Edge: area next to Toydarian Toymaker. Also the area next to the First Order Cargo.

  • Sunset Blvd: courtyard near Lightning McQueen's Racing Academy.

  • Toy Story Land: area between Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

MAGIC KINGDOM:

  • Adventureland: area next to Pirates of the Caribbean restrooms. Also there is an area near the Swiss Family Treehouse.

  • Fantasyland: near the Wishing Well at the back of the castle. Over at Storybook Circus, there is a nice area outside of Pete's Silly Slideshow.

  • Frontierland: nice peaceful area near the restrooms by Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

  • Liberty Square: the area behind Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe (this is where Santa Claus is found during the holidays).

  • Tomorrowland: area between Space Mountain and the Rocket Tower Plaza Stage. There is also a good area near the Carousel of Progress. There are benches and places to sit also on the pathway near TRON Lightcycle/Run.
